Indianapolis Sports Center
Indianapolis, Indiana

Located on a 13-acre urban site on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Tennis Center is home to the Indianapolis Tennis Championships, and it provides recreational facilities for both the city and the university. Originally constructed with 18 clay courts, 14 were later converted to hard courts to accommodate the tournament. The facility includes a stadium court with seating for 10,000 spectators. Seating sections have an enamel-coated steel skin and a roof canopy protects spectators in the box seats. The stadium also incorporates a pressroom with 92 positions and a private Champions Club. Signage is in three languages, reflecting the international character of the tournament and sport.
