Central Christian Church
Westfield, Indiana
When Central Christian Church of Carmel decided to move to a new 80-acre site in Westfield, Indiana, they hired Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects to lead their master planning process and develop a design for the first building phase. The master plan envisions a building that presents an inviting park-like image to the community and utilizes the exterior for outreach, fellowship and contemplation through such elements as a prayer garden, an ancient/future garden, an amphitheater and facilities for sports ministry. The storm water system was designed with natural filtration through a wet pond and prairie. All plant materials are native to Indiana in an attempt to restore what was originally created.
