When Purgatory Golf Club decided to build a permanent clubhouse and add an all-weather, lighted practice range, they hired BDMD Architects to help them realize their vision. In addition to providing architecture services, BDMD also provided planning and landscape architecture services, assisting the owner through the local government approval process and designing the outdoor spaces surrounding the clubhouse. Site amenities include a new guest pick-up/drop-off area, an enlarged cart-staging area, an outdoor grill and entertainment patio, and a screened service area. The landscape design concept utilizes plant material native to Indiana to enhance the rustic architecture of the clubhouse and tie it visually to the golf course.
