In an effort to raise the public perception of Clarian Healthcare's Methodist Hospital campus public image, BDMD Landscape Architects was retained to create short and mid-range capital planning projects. The focus of this work was to establish a complete upgraded street experience through the integrated design planning of new street parking, landscape, signage and stormwater innovation. In addition to these areas, large expanses of interstate highway lawn are targeted to receive a low maintenance, sustainable landscape redesign that creates an enhanced healthy environment. Each area of the study identified a projected scope of work, budget and schedule that could be incorporated into future capital planning budgets. The result for the project is an electronic and bound hardcopy document useful for talking about and selling these upgrades to public and private stakeholders.
