Daniel Overbey, Director of Sustainability at Browning Day, was honored on Friday, April 10, with an Award of Outstanding Achievement by the Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) Alumni Society. The Award of Outstanding Achievement is bestowed on CAP alumni who hold positions of distinction, demonstrate exceptional success in their field, and make outstanding contributions to their profession and to society.
Dan graduated Summa Cum Laude from CAP in 2005 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design degree, followed by a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2007. Dan received numerous other awards including the national AIA Young Architects Award in 2014. He was also recognized as one of Indy’s Best and Brightest by the Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, and was a member of the 2011 class of the Indiana Business Journal 40 under 40. In addition to his responsibilities at Browning Day, Dan is a building science educator at the Boston Architectural College’s Sustainable Design Institute.
