FORUM Credit UnionFishers, Indiana

This $25-million expansion to FORUM Credit Union is the cornerstone of the credit union’s growth strategy for the next 20 years. The expansion adds 110,000 square feet of office space and results in a 155,000-square-foot facility that seamlessly blends architecture and landscape architecture elements to achieve an integrated and holistic building and site design. The facility features a mix of private offices, pod-style open work areas, conference rooms and a cafeteria. Architectural modifications to the existing building created a unified look with the new construction. The headquarters expansion included a 600-person conference facility that is also available to the public for rental. The renovated and expanded headquarters allows FORUM to meet its business needs and provide a venue that is a community asset.

The site design delivered solutions that create circulation paths through the parking areas and separate vehicles from pedestrians in a dignified way. A meandering, illuminated and fully planted concrete path moves pedestrians through the site’s parking areas. The paths merge in harmony with the building architecture, plaza and courtyard spaces.
