University of Kentucky Alpha Phi Sorority HouseLexington, Kentucky

Located in a prime location across from the William T. Young library on the campus of University of Kentucky, this new house for the Alpha Phi International Women’s Fraternity sets a new standard for comfort, quality and design in sorority housing.

The 21,000 square-foot building can accommodate 48 women in addition to a house mother. Amenities include a full-service commercial kitchen with a dining room able to accommodate 80 people in addition to a large chapter and recreation space with a capacity of 200.

Browning Day worked closely with the university to demolish the existing building and build on their property with a long term lease. A close collaboration with the university allowed the construction process to go smoothly despite the very fast track.
